ABOUT
​Hi, I’m Jana—a proud single mom, survivor, and the founder of She Is Wilder.
After enduring the devastation of hurricanes in Florida and rebuilding my life from scratch,
I came to understand how many women like me are thrown into chaos, confusion and despair when disaster strikes. Not only did I lose my home with everything I owned, Pink Boston Whaler, the houseboat that I was renting on Airbnb but also my two jobs that I was working.
In an instant, everything that I worked for many years was just obliterated.

Navigating the overwhelming challenges of finding immediate shelter, providing for my children, and regaining hope inspired me to create something meaningful for others.
Too often, disaster relief funds raised by large corporations fail to reach those who need them most. Women not already living on assistance or who don’t know where to advocate for themselves are often overlooked. While celebrities and high-profile cases gain mass support through platforms like GoFundMe, countless women quietly struggle, unsure of where to turn for help.
She Is Wilder Inc. was created to change that.
Our mission is to help women not just survive, but thrive after life-altering disasters. I know firsthand how confusing, isolating, and even demeaning it can feel to seek help in times of crisis.
That’s why our organization focuses on real solutions: financial assistance, housing support,
group therapy, job resources, and opportunities for healing and joy through retreats
and meaningful experiences.

PROJECTS
Centralized Support
It's essential to have a centralized hub accessing all the necessary resources following a disaster, and from my experience, it's beyond needed. Our goal is to create a directory of support that includes grants, legal aid, housing assistance, mental health services, and job resources.
Empowerment
We aim to raise awareness & funds that go directly to women & single moms that have lost their homes & businesses.
